Shipping and Return Policies

Shipping - All orders placed by 1:00 PM EST Monday thru Friday with 3-day, 2-day or next day air shipping will ship the same day they are processed. Air orders placed after 1:00 PM EST will ship the next business day they are processed. All ground orders are guaranteed to ship within one business day after they are processed. ( Time in Transit Map ) Standard shipping and delivery days are Monday through Friday. Please note that during the peak season, this process may take longer.

All purchases are shipped throughout the continental United States and major Canadian Cities. All arrival times are estimates only and do not include the day that your order was received or shipped.

Many factors impact your delivery time, including but not limited to, the time the order was placed, weather conditions, method of delivery, location of recipient, and occasional delays of the carrier. At Adamsbasketcase.com we will do everything possible to expedite your orders; however, we cannot guarantee specific time or dates regardless of your shipping method. Items that contain chocolates are shipped at your own risk due to the possibility of the chocolates melting in summer months. All orders are shipped and received on a Monday - Friday schedule, including but not limited to, Next Day Air. For example, an order placed with Next Day Air on Friday will not be received until Monday.

  • $12.95 (ground) - arrives approximately 3-9 business days after your order has been shipped.
  • $26.95 (3-day) arrives in approximately 3-4 business days after your order has been shipped.
  • $32.95 (2-day) arrives in approximately 2-3 business days after your order has been shipped.
  • $49.95 (next day) arrives the approximately 1 business day after your order has been shipped.
  • $34.95 (Canada)- Ships through the United States Postal Service and arrives approximately 5-10 business days after your order has been shipped.

We do offer shipping to all APO, FPO and PO boxes; however, all these shipments take one to two additional days to ship out. In addition there are no loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims honored under any circumstances. You ship these orders at your own risk. When shipping to any and all military bases, the proper zip and address format are as follows:

  • All APO shipments $21.95
  • All FPO shipments $21.95

Alaska and Hawaii - Please add $15.50 to the standard ground prices for ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Please add $24.50 to the next day air prices for expedited shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

 

Holiday and Closures- Please take note that we are closed and no shipping will occur on the following days. All orders due to ship on these days will ship the next operating business day.

Return Policy - All damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 3 business days of the gift being received. There will be no exceptions to this policy. If a gift arrives damaged or if there is a discrepancy, Adamsbasketcase.com will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner and to your satisfaction. Credits and/or refunds will be at the sole discretion of Adamsbasketcase.com and RJR LLC and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be verified by the carrier. If the recipient disposes of the gift before we can verify the damages/discrepancy, we will not issue any refund. All claims must be issued in writing by e-mail at support@adamsbasketcase.com.If for any reason the recipient or purchaser is unhappy with a gift, he or she may certainly return it.

  1. If the gift is simply not wanted or the recipient is not satisfied, he or she may ship it back to us at his or her own expense and receive a partial and in some cases a full refund. The refund is based on the gift's perishability and condition upon being returned. The gift must be unopened and untampered with.
  2. If the gift is damaged or we have made an error, we will call tag the original gift and either ship a new one or refund the gift in full. However, if we can not call tag the gift, no refund or credit will be offered. Retrieving the gift is the only way we have of verifying the damages and placing a claim with UPS.

In the event a carrier returns a gift due to its being refused, a bad address being supplied or the nonavailability of a recipient, all shipping charges assessed by the carrier will be added to the bill and will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges usually consist of shipping to the recipient, shipping back and any address correction fees.

Fees and Surcharges - All orders should be placed on-line with our on-line ordering system. This system ensures order receipt and time. There will be a $10.00 address correction fee for all bad addresses, incorrect zip codes, and non-deliverable address information supplied. We will send you an email once UPS and/or Fed Ex notify us that there is a problem with the address supplied.

Privacy - Adamsbasketcase.com will not sell or give out your information to any third parties beyond what is required to complete your order.

Also Adamsbasketcase.com uses 128-bit encryption key over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to provide the highest level of security.
